Frigidaire est une marque américaine d'appareils électroménagers grand public et commerciaux. Frigidaire a été fondée sous le nom de Guardian Frigerator Company à Fort Wayne, Indiana, et a développé le premier réfrigérateur autonome en 1916.
En 1918, William C. Durant, l'un des fondateurs de General Motors, a personnellement investi dans l'entreprise et en 1919, elle a adopté le nom Frigidaire.
Frigidaire a été vendue à la White Sewing Machine Company en 1979, qui a été rachetée par Electrolux en 1986, sa maison mère actuelle.
